Apple has just announced its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models as well as the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which replaces the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day is not your style, and you still want to grab one as soon as possible, you'll be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, ahead of the September 19 release date.
The iPhone 17 boasts a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after much anticipation (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally includes a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the new A19 chip is quicker as well as more energy-efficient, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a massive jump in speed and smoother gaming thanks to ProMotion.

The iPhone 17 will come in six colourways: black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in colour options such as black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in three premium finishes: blue, orange and silver.
